Social Justice

Explore crucial issues relating to equity, diversity, and social justice.

Curriculum Connections

EduTravel is proud to offer a variety of trips that focus on social justice. By connecting students with non-profit organizations and activists, they are able to learn about the biggest issues facing our society, directly from the people that are fighting for change. Through workshops and interactive tours at historical sites and museums, our itinerary will provide students with knowledge and invite them to think critically about what they are learning. Our Tour Directors  will encourage students to reflect on each day’s experiences and prompt them to think about how they can use their new knowledge to make a positive impact back home.

Our social justice destinations include Germany to study the Holocaust, Washington D.C. and New York City to investigate race relations in North America, and Ottawa to explore Canadian Human Rights. Whether your students will be travelling internationally or exploring these issues within our own province, we will create a trip that challenges them to open their minds and plan for a brighter future.
