There are so many amazing sides to Belgium. One truly needs to visit in order to grasp the intricacies of this petite European country. 

Students can learn about the complexities of the European Union in it’s de facto headquarters in the city of Brussels. While you’re there be sure to sample a Belgian Waffle and some of the world’s best chocolate.

Outside of Belgium’s metropolis, take a short trip to the north of the country to take in the beautiful canals of one of Europe’s most tranquil little towns: Bruges. 

Canadian students can take advantage of visiting the sites of the World War 1 battlefields including Ypres and Passchendaele. Learn about the horrendous conditions that Canadian soldiers fought through during their efforts more than one hundred years ago.
